Cancellation policy

How to cancel

Email hello@golocaldigital.co.uk from the email address on your account and tell us you'd like to cancel. We'll confirm by email, with your final payment date and what happens next.

After your 12-month minimum term

You can cancel at any time with 30 days' notice. Your plan ends 30 days after we receive your notice, and you pay for your plan up to that date.

During your first 12 months

You can still leave. There is a one-off early exit fee of £199, and you do not have to pay the rest of the 12 months.

Your plan ends at the end of the month you have already paid for, and the early exit fee is taken with your final payment.

What you keep

Once your final payment has been made, we will:

• transfer your domain name to you, or to a provider of your choice;
• send you all your website text and images; and
• give you a copy of your website so you can host it elsewhere.

What stops

When your plan ends, we stop hosting your website, and the monthly SEO, Google Business Profile, insights, support and any extra services stop too. Your Google Business Profile itself stays yours.

Please arrange new hosting before your end date so your website doesn't go offline. We're happy to help you move it.

Refunds

Payments are taken monthly in advance. We don't refund part-months, but you'll never be charged for a month after your plan has ended.

If something has gone wrong with our service, please tell us. We'll always look at it fairly.

Cancelling extra services

You can remove extra services from your plan at the end of any month, by email. If you remove services from a discounted package, the package discount may no longer apply to the services you keep.

If we cancel

We may end your plan if payments remain unpaid after notice, or if you seriously break our terms and conditions. If that happens during your minimum term, the early exit fee may apply.

If you're buying as a consumer

GloSites is designed for businesses. If you're buying as an individual for personal use, you may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of ordering. If you ask us to start work during those 14 days, you'll pay for the work done up to the point you cancel.
