Terms and conditions

Last updated 1 October 2026

GloSites is a trading name of Go Local Digital.

The terms that apply when you buy a GloSites website and marketing plan, written in plain English.

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you order a website and marketing plan from GloSites ("we", "us"). By placing an order you agree to them, together with our cancellation policy and privacy policy.

GloSites' services are designed for businesses. If you have any questions about these terms, email hello@golocaldigital.co.uk before you order.

2. What your plan includes

Your core plan costs £99 a month and includes:

  • a professionally built website, with your first 6 pages built at no extra charge;
  • hosting, security and regular maintenance;
  • SEO foundations, then ongoing monthly SEO monitoring and optimisation;
  • Google Business Profile setup and optimisation;
  • changes made for you on request, and your own editor so you can make changes yourself;
  • a monthly insights report in plain English; and
  • ongoing support from a real person.

3. Extra services and packages

You can add extra services, such as additional pages, social media, advertising management or online booking, at the prices shown in the package builder when you order.

Where you take a recommended package for your type of business, the package discount shown at checkout applies to those services for as long as you keep the package. The core plan is not discounted.

Some services, such as online shops, booking systems and other complex integrations, are scoped and quoted separately before we start.

4. Payment

Your plan is billed monthly in advance by card, through our payment provider Stripe. Your first payment is taken when you order.

VAT is currently not charged. If we become required to charge VAT, we will tell you before it is added.

Advertising spend and third-party costs (for example premium plugins, paid tools or licensed images) are not included unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

If a payment fails we will let you know and try again. If it is still unpaid after 14 days, we may pause work on your account and, after further notice, take your website offline until the balance is paid.

5. Minimum term and cancelling

Your plan has a 12-month minimum term, starting on the date of your first payment.

After the minimum term you can cancel at any time with 30 days' notice.

If you need to leave within the first 12 months, you can do so by paying a one-off early exit fee of £199. You do not have to pay the remaining months.

Full details, including what happens to your website and domain, are in our cancellation policy.

6. Building your website

We start with a discovery call and a written brief. You will see a preview before we finish, and the build includes one proper round of revisions.

Any timescales we give are estimates. They depend on you supplying information, content and approvals promptly.

Your website goes live once you approve it.

7. Your content

We draft your website content from the information you give us. We use technology, including AI tools, to help, and a person on our team reviews every page before it goes live.

You are responsible for checking that the information about your business is accurate, and for making sure you have the right to use any logos, images or other material you send us.

You must not ask us to publish anything unlawful, misleading, defamatory or that infringes someone else's rights. We may refuse or remove content like this.

8. Who owns what

Your business name, logo, text and images remain yours.

If you leave after your minimum term, or after paying the early exit fee, we will transfer your domain to you, send you your text and images, and give you a copy of your website so you can host it elsewhere.

Our own tools, templates, software and know-how remain ours.

9. Results

We build your website to a high standard and work to improve it every month, but search rankings, traffic, enquiries and sales depend on many factors outside our control. We do not guarantee specific results.

10. Our responsibility to you

We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill.

We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, for loss of profit, revenue or business opportunity, or for problems caused by third-party services outside our control.

Our total responsibility to you under these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the problem arose.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

11. Ending the agreement

We may end your plan if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if payments remain unpaid after notice. If we end the plan because of something you have done during your minimum term, the early exit fee may apply.

12. Your data

We look after your personal information as described in our privacy policy.

13. Changes to these terms and prices

We may update these terms from time to time. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any change that affects you, including any change to your monthly price. If you do not accept a change to your price, you may cancel without an early exit fee before it takes effect.

14. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
